Contract benchmarks
Most advice about contract terms is someone’s opinion. These pages are measurements. Each one shows what a clause actually looks like across real B2B contracts, with the sample size next to every figure so you can judge how much weight it carries.
879 contract measurements across 5 clauses, drawn from the Citrus reference set of 1,982 agreements. No company is ever named.

How these are measured
Every figure comes from reading the actual clause in an actual contract. The reference set is built from negotiated agreements filed publicly with the US SEC and from published standard customer terms. Cohorts are grouped by contract type, governing law and industry, and a cohort is only published once at least 20 contracts have been measured.
Coverage is strongest for United States governed commercial contracts, which is where public material-contract disclosure exists. Where a page shows other jurisdictions, they are labelled. We would rather show you a narrow number that is true than a broad one that is not.
